Old Testament Passage
This is the story of Micah, who listened to his mother and made an idol. The plot thickens, he appointed a Levite to be priest to the idol. One thing led to another and the tribe of Benjaminfollowed the advice of the Levite and attack Laish.
Application, a little yeast increases the leaven. Micah compromised humself to this idol and this led to disaster of many people. What about you? if you know right from wrong, do you compromise yourself to do wrong because your comfort zone won't be affected.
The John 3 passage is the key chapter of the Bible. We must be born again! This is not our doing but it is the Spirit of God. We are dead in our sins, it is the Spirit who quickens us to become alive in Jesus Christ.
Psalm 104 reminds us who God is. He is the the Creator God, all-Powerful all-nowing who shows compassion on His creation. When you feel like your life is out of control, come to this passage and meditate upon it.
The proverbs passage show us that when we have money, we have 'friends'. We should be kind to the needy and not despise them.
Post a comment if something from today's passage spoke to you.
