From the Old Testament
Saul went on a rampage killing the priests of Nob and in pursiut of David to kill him. David trusted God despite all that was happening to him. He even destroyed the enemies of Israel whrn he was on the run. Note David enquired of the Lord.

From the New Testament
This is another name for Jesus: I am the good shepherd! I am the gate of the sheep. Psalm 23 shows that Jesus the good shepherd will guide me, feed me and protect me. The good sherpherd is willing to defend his sheep against wolves, lions and bear. We know that Jesus gave up His life for us on the cross.

From Psalms and Proverbs

God should get all the glory not the false gods or idols that surround us. A god is anything or anyone that takes the place of God's rule in our lives.

Here we learn it is good to be patient than hot-tempered industrious instead of being lazy.
