This is the life of Samson, a judge who lived by impulse and his weakness for eomrn. Yet in this who9le account God had used him to aggravate the Philistines. His downfall was Delilah!
John passage involved Jesus' first miracle changing water into wine. This was a miracle, water, H2O, turned into alcohol. Jesus met the need of this couple by avoidung an embarassing situation (v. 1-11). He went into the Temple with a whip and drove out the money changer. Is this the Jesus that you know? Someone who is indignant about what is going on in God's Temple? He also knew the heart of men and did not entrust himself to men for 'he knew what was in the heart of men (v. 35).
Psalm 103 reminds us who God is. He is a loving yet a just God. We must not separate His love from his righteousness.
The proverbs passage show that we should not be like the quick-tempered man nor the crafty man. We should be the exact oppposite. We should be wuse and not foolish, righteous and not wicked.
